Description
A wonderful old Gypsy Guitar made in the 40’s by Joseph di Mauro. Not to be confused with Antoine’s son.. this is Antoine’s brother. He worked on his own and his guitars are quite rare, initially. The guitar has a solid spruce top and laminated birdseye maple back and sides, 3-piece mahogany neck with rosewood stripe and fingerboard. Original tuners that turn backwards. Unfortunately the neck warped over time and some higher frets popped out a bit so at the moment playability is an issue. Therefore a professional refretting should be done to gain playability. Including a certificate of authenticity by Luthier Jérôme Casanova.
